Dr. Schulte is a Professor of Medicine and a board-certified specialist in endocrinology and gastroenterology. The recipient of a number of prestigious scientific awards, he has conducted research at the National Institute of Health’s Developmental Endocrinology Branch in Bethesda, Maryland, and was a Heisenberg Fellow at the NIH’s Neurology Branch. He is the co-founder of several life science companies, including Evotech AG, with Nobel Prize winner Dr. Manfred Eigen.
